week.
Goal Evaluation: Write a sentence or two explaining how you
did on your goal.

Math:
Solve each of these problems using a number line and then
one other way.
1. Bobby’s book has
327 pages. He has read 118 pages so far. How man pages does he have left to
read?
2. The students in Mr.
Earl’s class set a goal of reading 350 books. They still have to read 184 books
to reach their goal. How many books have they read so far?
PORTLAND PROJECT:
We have been
discussing blurbs: the smaller entries that we will write for our
guidebook.
Write three blurbs (each should be 3-4 sentences long) for the guidebook. They should be focused on one sculpture, fountain, park, shop, restaurant, café, street, neighborhood or event. Remember to persuade your audience by using powerful adjectives!
