The Missoula Flood

Today in class, we started talking about the Portland area, and why it looks the way it does.  We watched parts of the following video and talked about how the Missoula Flood was a huge event that created the landscape of our area.  The kids LOVED it.  Here is the video if you want to watch it at home!
