Homework 1/26 - 2/2

I wanted to let you know that the kids have been working hard on their homework, and I can see improvement each week in how much effort they are putting into their homework. I also know that even though students are responsible for doing homework, parents spend time overseeing the process and motivating their child to do their best thinking and work.

This a lot for families on top of everything else you may have going on.

About once a grading period, I will do a "No-Homework" week. It gives everyone a short break from the homework. My hope is that it re-charges your child and allows them to resume doing homework with a bit more enthusiasm.

Your child will still have spelling words to study for next week's spelling test. It is a great time to start a new chapter book for your child to read at home.

Take a break, you deserve it!
