First you'll want to get to Google Maps:
1. Visit: www.google.com
2. Click on the "Maps" tab along the top of the webpage
3. Type "Portland, OR" into the search bar and hit Enter. Be sure you are in Satellite mode.
Below is a list of Portland landmarks to find on Google Maps. We discussed many of these places yesterday when we looked at our wall map of Portland and read through Larry Gets Lost in Portland by John Skewes. Some of them I chose because they are in different parts of the city we may be unfamiliar with.
You can find these landmarks by typing them into the search bar, or by using the map's scroll and zoom features to explore our city on your own. Each time you find one of these landmarks, make sure to zoom in and out, in order to see where it is inside our city, and explore the street view options!
