Mobile Computer Lab

There may be some of you who have wondered about our mobile computer lab. Here are some pictures of it in action. We have a cart that houses 16 computers. Each computer plug into the cart. The cart can be rolled anywhere on the 2nd floor. To re-charge the computers, you just plug in the cart. It is very handy.

We have used the computers to type final drafts of stories we have written in writing workshop. We also have used the computer to practice internet searches, and how to make sure we are being safe on the internet. Our kids are very internet savvy. Many of them know how to negotiate GOOGLE better than I do. However, it is never too early to talk about internet safety and how to find the information that you need when you are looking for something specific.

Plus, the kids LOVED it.
