Spider Study

We are just wrapping up our mini-unit on spiders.  The kids have worked very hard on creating a lapbook to showcase their knowledge.  It will be coming home tomorrow.

We researched spiders in several different ways:  we read books, and used textbook sources.  We also conducted a web scavenger hunt about spiders.  We focused our attention on spiders that live in Portland, and found out many interesting facts.

This was a great way to flex our science minds as the beginning of the year.

We are not all the way finished.  We are creating Spider board games to play with our Kindergarten buddies next week!
