New Art

In art, we have moved from talking about pattern to talking about foreground and background. We talked about how artists show distance, and perspective in their drawing by adjusting the size and placement on their page. We wanted to experiment with contrasting the foreground and background of our latest art project.

Here we are tracing our hands and feet.



Then we added out body, it is smaller, and is worked into the picture between our hands and feet. The placement of the body in the background really makes our hands and feet jump off the page!



Pretty fun to see these pictures hanging around our classroom!
